Oppositional reading
Males of most ages will take the oppositional view because they have no interest in teenage/womens clothing. So they will make a conscious rejection to go in the shop or on the website.
Negotiated reading
Women older than the preferred reading age would understand the interest that women would have in topshop's clothes but would not themselves want to purchase them.
