Race is represented negatively on Hollyoaks specifically with Sonny a police officer for Hollyoaks village. sonny is represented as a dodgy police officer as he has murdered and has a lot of secrets that he will go out of his way to keep because as shown in the the image above he is punching someone.People stereo type black people to be involved in a lot of crime and as sonny is black it is furthering this stereo type.
