This episode of sun sex and suspicious parents was filmed on the 8th January 2013 in Magaluf.
The representation of the teenagers filmed in this episode has been created by filming them whilst on their first holiday without their parents.
The program has been mediated by teenagers join on their holiday not knowing there parents or 2 family members are also there watching them each day.
Selection has been used to show the most extravagant parts of their holiday to make the viewing more entertaining and to get more people to watch it as in this particular episode there was 965,000 viewers. They also need to select the best parts of the parents commentary to go with the teenagers night out.
Lighting
When the program starts the lighting is bright. This is when they are filming with the parents because hey are unknown to what their children are actually doing on night out.
When the teen agers get on their holiday on nigh out and when their parents are reviewing the filming of them the lighting changes to low key lighting because its filmed at night time and because it is shocking for the parents to be watching.
Negative representation
It crates a negative image of teenagers and specifically teenagers abroad because it shows them getting excessively drunk every nigh and going against what their parents have told them not to do. Its a stereo typical representation of teenagers on their first holiday and what people would expect to happen.
It also shows teenagers being reliant on their parents as in this episode charli was brought food by her mum and her mum saying that she does most ting for her daughter she cant do anything on her own. it also shows her mum making her bed, helping her pack bring her tea and fussing about her daughter.
